Fantastic service from front desk on arrival. There is a 1.9m height restriction in the underground car park and we had kayaks on the roof of our car. The receptionist came up with a solution, we took our kayaks off and put them in a secure storage room in the hotel and then our car could make it into the car park. I’m sure they have done this before for people with bikes! Very comfortable bed and despite our room being opposite the lift it was very quiet and we slept well. Good range of breakfast items on buffet with good machine coffee and bacon and eggs available too. We would definitely stay here again, it was very convenient for the Calais ferry and the service was stand-out.

The breakfast staff are always extra friendly, didn’t like the beer in the bar, 1664 has gone, strange strong beer in its place, not as refreshing as 1664. Still odd decorations in bar gives you a headache if you look too much, bar had more customers when decorations were more quiet.

Staff were excellent and very accommodating. They went the extra mile on a couple of occasions. The parking facilities are really handy, though a little bit more information about how to access them on arrival would have been welcome.

Easy to find and get to. Close to the river and port and within walking distance to beach and restaurants/bars. Rooms are clean and functional. The staff are super helpful and the buffet breakfast is good

The location is near to Lille Ville from where you can walk within 10min, it’s recommendable to use a taxi if you have a heavy luggage. The staff working there are friendly and knowledgeable.

Parking was very secure at a reasonable price Carrefour next door very useful, especially convenient it shares the same car park as the hotel. We enjoyed both the dinner and breakfast here. We had a nice view out of our room window. Excellent location to walk round the town and along the sea front.
